When Pigs Fly

Little baby Alice made her way into my studio at almost three weeks old with her bright eyes and proud parents. Now I want to get real with you for a second, newborn pictures rarely ever go how you want them to go. As a photographer you pray for babies who sleep through the session, who aren't easily woken when moved and who will love on you just as much as you want to love on them. Miss Alice had two sessions with me, the first she was very awake and just not feeling right for being in a position on her back and that is OK. Let me repeat that for all you soon to be mommas or new mommas that are reading this and thinking about booking a session, DO NOT WORRY, it will all be ok. I offered a second shoot and she slept like a dream for about 20 minutes and we got the cozy dreamy pictures of her holding her little pig in her flowered nightgown that meant so much to momma. All babies are different, all babies are special and that is what makes my job so great, no two session are the same, ever.
